The current research aimed at identifying the relationship between some children TV programs and the moral concepts development for kindergarten children through a content analysis of the programs. The research sample consisted of:
-          Some children TV programs (i.e. Mama Nagwa – Koky Kak – Boogy we Tamtam – My doll – Children world – Flowers of light – Birds from Paradise – Sesame Street – Open Up Flowers – Boys and Girls – Abla Fadhila – Papa Sharo – Mama Salwa – Bakar – Nour and Journeys – Nour and the Magic Book – Zeina).
-          The experimental group (20 kindergarten children)
-          The control group (20 kindergarten children)
Quasi-experimental research method was utilized by the researcher as suitable to the nature of research, to identify the effectiveness of some TV programs (the independent variable) and its correlation to the moral concepts development in kindergarten children between 5-6 years old (the dependent variable). For the purpose of research and the nature of the age group, the experimental design for the two groups (i.e. the experimental and control groups) was used, in addition to the utilization of pre and post test, and previewing the TV programs to the experimental group only to identify their effect on the moral concepts of children. Additionally, the analytic-descriptive method was used in content analysis of the TV programs.
Moreover, the researcher used the Moral Concepts Scale-Pictorial and the Content Analysis Form of TV Programs as the tools for data collection.
It were found that the children TV programs had an impact on the moral concepts development for children as was clear from degrees of the experimental group children who were exposed to the TV programs.
